Located in Wakefield's Trinity Walk, The Community Give Box is a unique charity shop that gives away more than it sells. Through referrals from local organisations, we provide essential items to individuals and families in need. We accept donations of all kinds—from toys and household goods, to technology, clothing, and bedding.
Our donations come from local individuals and businesses. While many items are sold to raise funds, we also create care packages for those having to start over. Partnering with a variety of local organisations, we step in when they cannot provide specific items or support, ensuring that everyone in our community has access to what they need.
Every penny raised and every donation fulfilled at The Community Give Box directly supports the Wakefield District. We are not a national charity—everything we do stays local, helping the local community when they need it most. Your donations and purchases contribute to a stronger, more supportive Wakefield District.

You can donate your unwanted items by visiting The Community Give Box, located at the top of the escalator at Trinity Walk. We are open Monday to Saturday, 10am – 4pm.
Unfortunately, while we accept most items, we do not have space for large furniture. However, we can connect you with other organisations that will be happy to receive such goods, so please do get in touch.
