At Community Foundation Wakefield District, we believe in the power of reusing, repurposing, and giving back. That’s why we’re thrilled to partner with Mallin & Son through their Beautifully Worn Project—an initiative that not only breathes new life into clothing but also supports local people in crisis.

Mallin & Son take unwanted waxed jackets and give them a new lease of life. Instead of these garments ending up in landfill, they’re carefully repaired, reworked, and made beautiful again. Even better, for every sale, £10 is donated to Community Foundation Wakefield District, directly helping those most in need across our area.

The funds raised through the Beautifully Worn Project go straight into supporting local people facing crisis situations. Whether it’s providing emergency essentials, helping struggling families, or supporting grassroots projects that make a real difference, this partnership is ensuring that clothing isn’t the only thing getting a second chance—so are people.
