We are thrilled to share that the Coalfields Regeneration Trust has chosen the Community Foundation Wakefield District as one of five community organisations in the Yorkshire coalfields to receive a £1,000 grant.
This generous funding will go directly towards our End Children’s Bed Poverty campaign, helping to provide beds for children across the Wakefield District who are currently sleeping without one.

Every child deserves a safe, comfortable place to sleep, and thanks to organisations like the Coalfields Regeneration Trust, we are one step closer to making that a reality.
Our Foundation Director, Lisa, recently attended the CRT 25 event, celebrating 25 years of the Coalfields Regeneration Trust’s incredible work. We are truly grateful for this support, and we look forward to using this funding to change more young lives for the better.
Thank you, Coalfields Regeneration Trust!
