Another example of us doing what we do best, connecting charities and community organisations with things that they need, from places that no longer wanted them. (Often referred to as wombling by many!) 

This huge pallet of water was donated by YPO to Wakefield Pride and kindly stored by Scope until it was needed. After the Wakefield Pride event, the organisers contacted our Foundation Director Lisa to see if we knew anyone that could use all that was leftover. 

We got in touch with Michelle from The Well Project and they happily collected it. They also donated a car boot full of books to The Community Give Box, because they knew we were low on stock. 

Just another example of Wakefield charities and businesses working together, making sure nothing goes to waste.

It’s cheesy but, as they say, ‘team work makes the dream work’!
