Our Easter Egg Collection is Back for 2025!
Christmas is over and Spring is just around the corner, which means it’s time for our Easter Egg Donation Campaign! Once again, the Community Foundation Wakefield District is calling on our generous community to help spread a little extra joy to children across the district who might otherwise go without a chocolate egg this Easter.
For many families facing financial hardship, purchasing an Easter egg simply isn’t an option. These small treats may seem like a luxury, but for a child, they represent a moment of happiness and inclusion. That’s why, with your help, we’re working to collect and distribute Easter eggs to local children in need.
This year, we’re partnering with Wakefield Street Kitchen, Kidz Aware, and The Bag Fairies to ensure donated Easter eggs reach those who need them most. Your support will help bring smiles to children across the Wakefield District and remind them that their community cares.
We’re keeping it simple—if you’d like to help, all you need to do is donate an Easter egg!
We’re accepting Easter egg donations at The Community Give Box in Trinity Walk, but for anyone unable to drop off an egg, you can donate on JustGiving and we’ll purchase Easter eggs on your behalf to distribute to local children who might otherwise go without.
