WDHCS opens first grant round of 2022

Wakefield & District Health and Community Support has launched its first grant round for the new year. Applications open from 9am, 1 February until 12 noon, 28 February 2022.

 

Who can apply?

 

Our funding grants provide financial support to voluntary and community groups, charities, and social enterprises (VCSE) across the Wakefield district.

 

This includes VCSE organisations in the areas of: Wakefield, Horbury, Ossett, Wrenthorpe, Stanley, Altofts, Normanton, Castleford, Pontefract, Knottingley, Featherstone, Hemsworth, South Kirkby, South Elmsall, Middlestown, Crigglestone, Crofton, Woolley and Ackworth for example.

 

What can I apply for?

 

Grants will be awarded to organisations who are working with people and communities, to help them develop their activities, approaches, and service delivery. This could be for a particular project, materials for the organisation, salaries, repairs, equipment, or simply to help pay the bills to keep the lights on!

 

How much?

 

Grants start at £500 and there is no upper limit.

Our application form is easy to fill in and shouldn’t take you longer than 30 minutes to complete.
