The 2022 Unsung Heroes awards will celebrate the remarkable contributions made by volunteers in front of a wide number of guests from the business world and the wider community.
The event will take place on 14th October 2022, at Wakefield Cathedral. The evening will showcase the huge impact the ten shortlisted local champions make within their communities, as well as feature a raffle and an auction, and much more.
Tickets include a three-course meal, and the award’s host, Duncan Wood, a well-known face in Yorkshire, will ensure the night will be truly memorable.

The ten shortlisted nominees will all receive a certificate and trophy in recognition of the support they give to people in need across the district. As a result of the public vote, one of the nominees will also win the People’s Choice Award, and the judging panel will subsequently announce the recipient of the Unsung Heroes’ Overall Winner Award.
