Tea with a Pony, facilitated by Dialwood Carriage Driving for the disabled, affiliated with the Riding for the Disabled Association, has also received funding.

Based in Flockton, Tea with a Pony will see volunteers assist disabled youngsters with their ponies and people with dementia, bringing them together to socialise over tea and cake with a pony!

‘Getting to Know You’ sessions will also connect people through a mutual interest in ponies and horses. Individuals from local church and women’s institute groups will share experiences with local school children as they take part in a monthly activity session.
