Women’s Fund Virtual Lunchtime Meeting

At this meeting we have two speakers with interesting stories to tell: 

Sita Brand, the Artistic Director and CEO of Settle Stories will talk about her career and an exciting new venture “Storyversity” about to be launched at the Yorkshire Festival of Story this autumn which takes place between 12 and 28 November. Sita is an actor, producer and writer and set up Settles stories 11 years ago for a quiet life!  

She is passionate about Diversity in the Arts and why telling stories really matters. She brings mindfulness into her story-telling, and works with a variety of audiences of all ages including those involved in their Communities, in Prisons, and in Theatres. She has run an annual story-telling festival every year for the past 11years, and when everything went virtual Settle stories went global! Her new venture – Storyversity is about teaching you to tell stories so that you can make a difference. 

Gill Laidler is the founder and managing director of Ghost Publishing who produce Business 2 Business magazine TopicUK established some eight years ago, and Yorkshire Businesswoman, launched just last year in November. Both magazines are printed and distributed free of charge across the Yorkshire region. 

With a career spanning 40 years, Gill is a trained graphic designer and has a degree in Marketing and PR. Ghost Publishing through the magazine partnerships and the Yorkshire Businesswoman membership, focusses on helping SMEs with marketing and promotion, not just in print but online, on their App and across a range of social media platforms.
