Headline Sponsors

The 2021 Unsung Heroes event will celebrate the remarkable contributions made by volunteers in front of a record numbers of guests from business and the wider community.

On arrival at Cedar Court Hotel guests, table hosts and sponsors will meet together to enjoy a champagne reception followed by a 3-course dinner in the Cedar Suite. The whole event will be hosted by Harry Gration, who will introduce our award-winning local heroes.

All of the winning nominees will be invited to attend the 2021 Unsung Heroes Awards ceremony where guests will enjoy a series of short films celebrating their individual achievements before being entertained with a performance of Dan Smith’s Nearly Bublé, featuring favourite songs by the universally popular Michael Bublé. All 10 people short-listed are Unsung Heroes and will be presented with a certificate and a trophy together with two complimentary tickets for an evening out. From these Unsung Heroes, three will be selected for a category award:

People’s Choice Award

An award, which is voted for by the general public, following publication of the short-list online, via the print media, social media and the foundation’s website.
